“We wanted an approach that felt both accessible and distinctive—one that would let us talk about animal health in a light tone and allow us to connect with pet owners in a different way”
With this first awareness campaign created by Alfred, Passionimo set out to quickly build recognition among the general public. Well-established across Quebec, the network of independent veterinary clinics aimed to highlight the small, everyday actions and preventive decisions that support animals’ health and well-being.
Parasites are back
The campaign launched right as spring begans—a key moment to raise awareness about parasite prevention. The two 15-second spots feature animals talking with each other, using humour to reflect on their daily lives and their relationship with their veterinarian.
“Our pets are part of the family. We like to imagine them talking to us and to each other. It’s a timeless idea. So it felt natural to let them be the ones speaking about their own health.”
These simple scenes use humour to capture attention while reinforcing the bond between people and their pets. In just a few exchanges, they bring a smile and clearly convey the key message: consult early to prevent and protect.
Different stories
The campaign unfolds across print placements and two 15-second video spots featuring the furry companions. A third message focusing on dental care will roll out later this year.
